Growth

This is the second in a series of yoga paintings
which I recently unearthed and re-painted.
Sometimes a little distance (or a lot)
can help in deciding where to go with an image.

I am in the last few days of growing
this baby in my belly, and I am looking forward
to the next phase,
of getting to meet him and watch him grow.

Spring.
New life.

It's not without it's struggle,
but whether a single leaf on a tree,
or a new child,
it is truly miraculous
that we beat the odds
and continue
to grow.

It's Paint Party Friday!
Join the fun here.

  7. Good luck with your last bit of human creation. At least you have art to distract you until the new one makes his appearance.
