Yesterday, I had an art date with my husband. I was so excited to take this workshop with Gay Mitchell at Artspot. Both my husband and I are new to pastels, so it was exciting to play with the different forms of the medium, and also a bit scary because it is so outside of my comfort zone artistically. Being the tired parents of a small baby, we only made it through 3 of the 4 hours before we had to call it quits because we were falling asleep on each other, but it was still a fantastic afternoon!
