I have decided that a new occasional feature will be some inspiring places, be they businesses, parks, or homes. Today I wanted to share some photos the lovely ladies at Copper Creek Home Accents & Gifts in Coquitlam allowed me to take in their store. I have to say I LOVE little shops like this, where they take the time not only to collect beautiful pieces, but also to display them artfully, so that walking around the store is like a little adventure, with new scenes around every turn. But first, let me show you the beautiful Papaya art print that I bought there:
How awesome is this? It is now proudly displayed in my studio as a reminder not to limit my artistic expression, but to allow inspiration to guide me wherever it might desire. Check out the web link above for more amazing art!
So here are the photos from Copper Creek, and if you live in the area I highly recommend stopping by.
So wherever your day takes you, I hope you take a moment to stop and soak up something beautiful. Drink it in with your eyes, and feel how it fills your heart. Notice how you smile more and breeth deeply, simply because you stopped to truly look at something or someone. And in looking at that beauty, know that this is truly what our lives were meant to be: not a succession of onerous tasks, but an expression of love made visible to the world.
I am off to Hawaii tomorrow for a week-long family vacation. So technology willing, you are going to see some amazing photos for Photo Friday this week!
Have a beautiful day.

Ooops...I thought I already left a comment on this post ( been happening a lot lately !) I love these photos! Very pretty, wish I was closer so I could checkout this shop. I LOVE that art print. I actually have that card on my work table along with 2 or 3 others by Papaya. They are designed by Anahata who is a HUGE inspiration to me. She always has such inspiring messages on her Papaya goodies! I had the honor of taking a collage class from her a few years ago. She's Fabulous! Sorry, enough rambling..
