Dreaming Big (and small)

I have a dream.
A dream that one day,
I will be a great painter.
A mixed media artist,
Right now I am taking baby steps.

But I am taking them every day.
Even if I only get ten minutes of
sketching in, at least I can say
I am working towards my goal.

And that feels really good.
Today, other dreamers
are posting at the Kim Klassen Cafe
for Texture Tuesday.

I can't wait to see
what other beautiful dreams
are out there!
What are your dreams right now?

It doesn't have to be anything big.
I remember when my son was first born,
my big dreams consisted of
 a full night's sleep.

Whatever your dreams,
I hope you will join me
in declaring your dream out loud
 to the world.

There is power and beauty
in claiming our dreams.
