Hope you enjoy my little photo album from our trip. Maui is beautiful, especially all the flowers and abundant bird life. But no matter how beautiful and exotic the locale, there is still no place like home.
Things I am appreciating after a week away:
* sleeping in my own bed
* settling back in to my daily routines. There is a comfort in that.
* seeing Gabe so happy to be back with this friends
* preparing all my own food. Before the trip it was drudgery. After a week of eating in restaurants, it is a joy. Funny how your perspective can change
