It's Texture Tuesday at the

Kim Klassen Cafe

and I thought I would interpret

this week's Back to School theme

with a Bart Simpson twist ;)

I was actually a very good student

when I was in school.

A little too good, I think.

Much like Bart's sister Lisa,

I worked hard and spent

all my free time in the 

library or the music room.

I could have taken a few pointers

from Bart about how to have 

a little more fun.

P.P.S. For those interested in the processing,

I used three textures on this piece,

Extreme Grunge, 123, and Bent Edges.

I removed a bit of the texture 

to make the text pop.

I added a few curves adjustment layers

to increase contrast and 

slightly de-saturate the image.
