This week's challenge was right up my alley, since I have been all about the fairies lately. This is number 2 in a series I am working on where I use photos my husband took of me (which were originally intended to be promo photos for my press kit) and turn myself into a fairy. This is really the ultimate fantasy for me. I actually have a lovely collection of wings, including glow-in-the-dark wings, wings made entirely of wire and beads, and a gorgeous shimmery gold pair that hangs over my bed which I once accidentally smacked my guitar player in the face with during a gig.
Today's wings were made with a Kim Klassen texture from her I Need an iMac collection, and as usual I used more of Kim's textures throughout the image. The mask for these wings was made from my logo image, which was created by my talented husband.
I'll leave it up to your imagination what this fairy was up to. Feel free to conjecture in the comments section ;)
Thanks to Debbie and Annie for joining the Music Monday challenge this week. For anyone else interested in joining, you still have until Saturday night to post your creation. Wait till you see what this fairy is up to for next week's Music Monday!
Have a fairy fantastic day!
